Staub Strong on Mound in His Inaugural Start

2012: Led all pitchers with 22 relief appearances in sophomore season ... pitched 35.1 innings and allowed 19 earned runs ... totaled 31 strikeouts against 11 walks ... recorded multiple strikeouts in nine appearances ... struck out a career-high four batters against Cornell (March 11) ... did not allow a run over a seven-game stretch from April 3-18 ... only 10 of 36 hits allowed went for extra bases ... allowed just one run with one strikeout on three hits in 3.1 innings of work at Maryland (March 20) ... pitched a career-high six innings, surrendering two earned runs vs. St. Bonaventure (April 21).
