PREVIOUS SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL: Transferred to GW from Tulane for the 2003 spring semester...played in 11 games in 2002 at Tulane recording a hit and an RBI...redshirted his freshman year at Tulane and earned C-USA Commissioner's Academic Honor Roll recognition...four-year letterman at Newman High for coach Billy Fitzgerald, seeing time at first base and in the outfield...earned All-District 9-2A honors his final three prep seasons...named team Defensive MVP as a sophomore and junior, and was the squad's Offensive MVP as a senior...earned all-state, all-metro and all-orleans honors as a senior after hitting .402 with 11 home runs, 43 RBI, 12 doubles, 45 runs scored and a .922 slugging percentage...was a member of the honor roll and earned the Founders Scholarship.
