DELAND, Fla - The George Washington baseball team came out on the wrong end of a pitchers' duel in Sunday's rubber match at Stetson. The Colonials were no-hit over nine innings as the Hatters escaped with the series with a 3-0 win.

Key Stats

  • Junior Nathan Woods went toe-to-toe with Stetson starter Mitchell Senger. Woods faced the minimum over his first five innings of work but allowed three runs in the bottom of the seventh, with the third coming across after his exit.
  • Woods' final line was 6.2 innings, four hits, three earned runs, three walks and three strikeouts.
  • Senger was nearly untouchable for the Hatters. He struck out 16 with just one walk and two hit batters in the no-hit effort.
