FAIRFAX, VA - The George Washington University baseball team lost at George Mason Tuesday afternoon at George Mason by the score of 11-2. Freshman Jay Lively got the start and allowed five earned runs in 4 2/3 innings while redshirt junior Sean Rockey led the offense with three hits.

Senior Doug Eizen also recorded a couple of hits for the Colonials and the two players to drive in runs for George Washington were senior's Gavin Swanson and Tim Reeves.

The Colonials struck first in the contest with a second inning run, but gave up seven runs in the middle three innings to fall behind 7-1 after six. Lively threw three shutout innings to open the game, but struggled in the fourth and fifth in his first start of his career.

The Colonials will hit the road again tomorrow when they travel to UMBC to take on the Retrievers in a 7:00 p.m contest.
