ARLINGTON, VA- The George Washington baseball team was unable to continue the momentum established in Saturday's victory, falling to Dayton 5-0 in the rubber match at Barcroft Park on Sunday afternoon.

GW (12-32, 4-11 A-10) managed just six hits, two each by sophomore Justin Albright and juniors Stephen Oswald and Jimmy Best, while stranding nine runners on base.

Dayton (25-19, 10-5 A-10) starting pitcher Mike Hauschild was dominant on the mound for the Flyers, allowing just six hits with 13 strikeouts in a complete-game shutout victory.

Senior Bobby Lucas got the start for the Colonials and pitched five innings, allowing four runs on seven hits with six strikeouts. The Colonials got scoreless innings out of the bullpen from freshmen Aaron Weisberg, Colin Milon and junior Luke Mirabella.

GW will have the week off for final exams before beginning a three-game series at Saint Louis on Friday at 7:00 pm.
