Baseball's A-10 Contest at Temple Postponed

May 20, 2005

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The George Washington University baseball team has announced that its Atlantic 10 Conference regular season finale at Temple scheduled for Friday, May 20, has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game has been pushed back and will now be played on Saturday, May 21, at 1 p.m. at Ambler Field.

The Colonials (38-17, 16-7 A-10) clinched the A-10 West Division title on Thursday with a doubleheader split against the Owls after taking game one, 8-4, before dropping an 8-5 decision in the nightcap. With the regular season Division title, GW secured the second-seed and earned a first-round bye in next week's A-10 Tournament, May 25-28, in Dayton, OH.
