WASHINGTON, DC - The start of the 2007 season for George Washington's baseball team has once again been delayed as a result of this week's inclement weather. Their three-game series at #8 Virginia, originally set to start on Friday, has been rescheduled and will now begin on Saturday. Both coaches agreed upon the move after determining that Davenport Field at the UVa Baseball Stadium was unplayable.

The series opener, and season opener for GW, is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. start time on Saturday. Sunday's contest is at 1:00 p.m. and the series will conclude at 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon.

The Colonials were set to open the 2007 season earlier this week, but their Tuesday match-up with Georgetown was postponed on account of the impending snow and ice. No make up date has been announced.
