GAINESVILLE, FL - The opening game in the series between George Washington and the University of Florida, originally scheduled for Friday night at 6:00 p.m., has been postponed due to rain. The Colonials and Gators are now set to play a doubleheader on Saturday at McKethan Stadium beginning at 2:00 p.m. Game two will begin approximately 40 minutes following the completion of the first game.

GW is 0-1 all-time against Florida. Their only meeting came in the 1979 NCAA Tournament, a game the Gators won 12-7 with a six-run sixth inning.
