UPDATE: Baseball Delays Start of Saturday's Doubleheader Until 3:00 p.m.

WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington baseball's doubleheader with Oakland University, originally scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m. today, has been pushed back because of rain, Head Coach Steve Mrowka announced. The Colonials and Golden Grizzlies will now begin play at 2:00 p.m. today, Sat., Mar. 8. At that time, the teams will reevaluate the field and determine the likelihood of playing two games today at Barcroft Park.

The third and final game of the series is set for Sun., Mar. 9, at 12:00 p.m.

UPDATE: The doubleheader is now set for a 3:00 p.m. start. Game Two, scheduled for seven innings, will begin approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first game.
