Baseball Series Opener against Marist Postponed

ARLINGTON, VA - George Washington's baseball game against Marist College, originally scheduled for Friday at 3:00 p.m., has been postponed due to rain and will now be played as part of a doubleheader on Sunday. Also, Saturday's game has been moved to a 2:00 p.m. start time.

Game One on Sunday will begin at 11:00 a.m. and is scheduled for nine innings. Game Two will end after seven innings and is set to start approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.

The Red Foxes (1-10) enter the series on a five-game losing streak, while the Colonials (5-11) have won their past four games, including three straight at Barcroft Park. GW is 2-1 all-time against Marist.

Additionally, GW has announced that they will play at Georgetown on March 27, at 3:00 p.m. The game was originally scheduled for February but was postponed due to snow.
