GW Baseball at Del State Postponed Until Wednesday

March 21, 2006

WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington University's baseball game at Delaware State University, originally scheduled for Tuesday, has been pushed back to Wednesday due to impending inclement weather.

The Colonials (5-13) will meet the Hornets (8-16-1) in Dover, DE, on Wednesday at 2:30 pm in Bob Hannah Stadium.

The game will be GW's final contest before beginning Atlantic 10 Conference play this weekend in Charlotte, NC, against UNCC.

The Charlotte series, beginning Friday at 6:00 pm, will be the 49ers' first-ever A-10 games as UNCC joined the Conference prior to the season.

Last year against DSU, the Colonials split two games as they lost at home, 12-7, and won in Dover, 11-6.

Freshman RHP Tim Sexton (0-3, 7.43 ERA) will make his second collegiate start for GW.
