WASHINGTON, DC - The Atlantic 10 conference announced Monday that George Washington University senior Ryan Roberson (Silver Spring, MD / James H. Blake) was selected as its Baseball Player of the Week and junior Josh Wilkie (Alpharetta, GA / Chattahoochee) was selected as its Co-Pitcher of the Week.

Roberson, who also received the honor March 21, had a monster week for the Colonials. The first baseman hit .667 (10-for-15), produced a double, two home runs and five RBIs as GW took four of its five games it played.

Roberson currently leads the A-10 in batting average (.425), home runs (9), RBIs (35), total bases (81), slugging percentage (.764), stolen bases and stolen base percentage (13-for-13). He also stands second in hits with 45.

Wilkie was terrific in his start against conference foe St. Bonaventure on Sunday. The right-hander threw seven scoreless innings, struck out seven, did not allow a walk and yielded just one extra base hit as he earned the win in the Colonials' 10-1 victory.

Wilkie shares the honor with Rhode Island's Zack Zuercher.

GW returns to action Tuesday at Towson and then opens a three-game conference series at Richmond beginning Saturday at 12:00 pm with a doubleheader.
