WASHINGTON, DC - The Atlantic 10 conference announced Monday that George Washington University right fielder Brad Rosenblat (New Orleans, LA / Newman / Tulane) was chosen as its Co-Player of the Week.
Rosenblat, a senior, hit .467 (7-for-15) with two home runs and 11 RBI's in four games. He drove in a career high eight runs in the Colonials' 14-8 victory at Towson last Tuesday. He also homered twice in GW's conference series at the University of Richmond over the weekend.
Rosenblat currently leads the A-10 in home runs (11), RBIs (40), slugging percentage (.738), total bases (90) and runs scored (40).
He shares the honor with Richmond centerfielder Ben Zeskind.
The Colonials host five games this week at Barcroft Park in Arlington, VA.
GW will face Towson on Tuesday and Old Dominion on Wednesday (3:00 pm start times) before opening a three-game conference series against Duquesne on Saturday.
