The Atlantic 10 Baseball Player of the Week, Albright hit at a torrid pace to lead the Colonials to a 3-1 week. The Thurmond, Md., native batted .667 and recorded multiple hits in all four games with five doubles and four RBIs. He opened his week by going 5-for-5 with three doubles and two RBIs on Wednesday against Towson and drove in the game-winning run in the bottom of the tenth inning. Albright also started the game on the mound and pitched 4.1 innings with four strikeouts (ND). Albright went on to record multiple hits in GW's weekend series at Fordham. On Friday he went 3-for-5 with one double and one RBI before going 2-for-4 in both Saturday and Sunday's contests. For the week he batted .667 (12-of-18) with five doubles, four runs, four RBIs and was 5-for-6 in steal attempts. He also slugged .944 and did not strike out in 18 at-bats.

The Atlantic 10 Softball Player of the Week, Taylor batted .538 (7-for-13) and slugged 1.000 with seven RBIs to lead GW to a perfect 4-0 weekend over Atlantic 10 rivals Rhode Island and Massachusetts. She also walked three times, reaching base at a .625 clip. Three of her seven hits went for extra bases and she also scored three runs. Taylor's best game of the week came at URI on Saturday, as she went 3-for-4 with a triple, a home run, three RBIs and two runs scored. Her two-run homer capped a six-run sixth inning and sent the Colonials to a 9-1 six-inning victory. The senior from Severna Park, Md., also drove in three runs in a 2-for-3 effort in the second game against UMass on Sunday, as she broke GW's all-time RBIs record; she now has 94 in her career. Taylor is batting .343 with six home runs and 35 RBIs on the season.
