WASHINGTON - The George Washington baseball will conclude the 2012 season with a visit to Amherst, Mass., to play Atlantic 10 rival Massachusetts for a three-game series at Earl Lorden Field. First pitch on Thursday is scheduled for 3 p.m.

The Colonials' seven seniors will arrive back in D.C. in time for Sunday's Commencement on the National Mall.

GW (20-32, 6-15 A-10) is coming off a lightning-shortened 1-0 loss to William & Mary on Tuesday night. Junior J.T. Wauford pitched a strong game, but ultimately took the loss after allowing one earned run on four hits in seven strong innings.

He carries an eight-game hitting streak into the final weekend, as he has hit .467 with seven doubles, two home runs and three RBIs during the stretch.

Junior Kenny O'Brien leads GW and ranks second in the Atlantic 10 with a 2.22 ERA. The Yonkers, N.Y., native also leads the team with five wins, six saves and 51 strikeouts in 56.2 innings of relief.
