GW Baseball To Meet Richmond in A-10 Tourny

DAYTON, OH - The George Washington University baseball team will square off with the University of Richmond Thursday afternoon in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament as a result of the Spiders' victory over Fordham University in round one on Wednesday.

It took #6 Richmond 13 innings to defeat the #4 Rams 4-1 at Fifth Third Field.

The Colonials, winners of the A-10 West Division, are the number two seeded team and earned a first round tournament bye.

Number four seed University of Dayton defeated #5 Duquesne University 8-5 in the opening game of the first round. The Flyers will meet #1 Rhode Island in round two.

The first pitch of the GW and Richmond game is set for 3:30 pm.
