Baseball's Brad Rosenblat Named Third-Team All-American

June 3, 2005

WASHINGTON, DC - George Washington University right fielder Brad Rosenblat (New Orleans, LA / Newman / Tulane) has been named third-team Louisville Slugger All-American, Collegiate Baseball newspaper announced.

Rosenblat led the Atlantic 10 Conference this season in numerous categories including home runs (17), RBI (57), runs (66), doubles (20), total bases (153) and stolen bases (22). He batted .353 and ranked in the league's top 10 in on-base percentage (.434) and slugging percentage (.692).

The senior guided GW to a conference-best 41-19 (.683) overall record and an A-10 West Division regular season title.

"Brad had a sensational season and was a major part of our success this year," head coach Steve Mrowka said. "Leading the conference in all of those categories is truly incredible."

Rosenblat also was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Year, becoming the first-ever Colonial to receive the award. He also garnered first team All-Conference and Academic All-Conference for the second straight year.
