WASHINGTON, DC - Former George Washington University baseball player Brad Rosenblat (New Orleans, LA / Newman / Tulane) became the fourth Colonial to join a professional baseball team this season, signing last week with the Brockton Rox of the Can-Am Independent League.

Rosenblat joins former teammates Ryan Roberson (Silver Spring, MD / James H. Blake), Joe Michalski (Ellicott City, MD / Mt. Hebron) and Dan Sullivan (Stony Point, NY / North Rockland) to sign contracts with pro teams since the end of GW's season in May.

Rosenblat was the first-ever Colonial to earn Atlantic 10 Player of the Year honors this season as he led the conference in numerous offensive categories including home runs (17), RBI (57), runs (66) and doubles (20).
