GW Baseball's Colin Milon Named to Cal Ripken League All-Star Team
Rising Senior Leads Alexandria With Four Victories

WASHINGTON - George Washington baseball rising senior Colin Milon has been selected to participate in the Cal Ripken Collegiate Baseball League All-Star game, the league announced on Friday.
Milon, a left-handed reliever for the Colonials, has been competing for the Alexandria Aces as a starting pitcher this summer. In four starts he has pitched 22.0 innings, yielding six earned runs for a 2.45 ERA. He has a team-best four victories and 19 strikeouts against just six walks.
Milon is one of six representatives from the Alexandria Aces and will play for the South Team in the All-Star Game, which will be held at Shirley Povich Field in Bethesda, Md., on July 17 at 7:30 p.m.
A key left-handed reliever for the Colonials in 2013, Milon ranked second on the team with 21 appearances and registered 17 strikeouts in 23.1 innings.
