GW Baseball's 15th Annual Golf Outing Set for October 26

WASHINGTON - The George Washington baseball program's 15th annual Golf Outing is set for Friday, October 26 at Lake Presidential Golf Club in Upper Marlboro, Md.
Join Associate Head Coach and Interim Head Coach Tom Sheridan, Assistant Coach Dave Lorber, Volunteer Assistant Coach Stephanos Stroop, Director of Baseball Operations Bobby Lucas Jr. and the 2013 Colonials for an afternoon of friendly competition on one of the top courses in the state of Maryland.
The afternoon begins with lunch and a putting contest at 12:00 p.m., prior to the 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. A dinner reception and awards ceremony follows at 6:00 p.m., at The Grille with incredible panoramic views of Lake Presidential.
Individual entry includes 18 holes of golf, cart and range balls, hole-in-one contest, lunch, dinner reception, awards ceremony, beverages and a golfer gift.
On Saturday, October 27, the Colonials will host an open practice for alumni and fans at now completely renovated Barcroft Park in Arlington, Va.
Construction is now complete and Barcroft Park has been transformed into one of the top facilities in the region with grandstand-style seating, a brand new FieldTurf playing service, entry plaza, bullpens, enclosed dugouts, new scoreboard and press box.
