An introduction to the 2013-14 GW Men's Basketball team and the 'Zeek & Creek Show.'

AT GW
Sat out 2011-12 season after transferring to George Washington from Villanova ... Will have two years of eligibility with the Colonials in 2012-13 and 2013-14 after playing two seasons for the Wildcats.

AS A SENIOR AT GW IN 2013-14
2014 Second Team All-Atlantic 10 and All-Defensive Team ... 2013-14 preseason Atlantic 10 Second Team All-Conference and All-Defensive Team ... Tied for second on team and 19th in A-10 in scoring at 12.7 points per game ... Led GW and ranked fourth in A-10 in rebounding (8.4 rpg), paced team and sixth in A-10 in blocks (1.5 bpg) ... Also led team with 26 dunks ... Finished GW career sixth all-time with 119 blocks and is one of just two players in program history to amass at least 500 points (778), 500 rebounds (539), 100 blocks (119), 100 assists (102) and 50 steals (54) during his career at GW, doing so in just 63 games as a Colonial from 2012-14 ... Averaged 11.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.0 blocks over the three games, highlighted by 12 points, four rebounds and four blocks while limiting Creighton All-American forward Doug McDermott to seven points, nearly 21 below his average, to help GW score upset win over Bluejays (12/1/13) ... Recorded first double-double of season, 11th of career, with 12 points and 11 rebounds in Wooden Legacy quarterfinal victory over Miami (Fla.) (11/28/13).

AS A JUNIOR AT GW IN 2012-13
Led GW and ranked 25th in Atlantic 10 in scoring at 11.9 points per game ... Also paced GW and finished second in the A-10 in rebounding (8.8 rpg) and blocked shots (2.3 bpg) ... Armwood's 68 total blocks marked the second most in a single-season in program history, trailing only Yinka Dare's 84 in 1992-93 ... His 263 total rebounds and 8.8 rebounds per game were the highest for a GW player since Dare's 309 rebounds and 10.3 boards per game in 1993-94 ... Totaled nine double-doubles on the season, most for a GW player since Mike Hall in 2005-06 ... Posted ninth double-double of season with 16 points and 13 rebounds in A-10 Championship first round against Massachusetts (3/14/13) ... Game-winning tip dunk with 2.4 seconds left in overtime vs. Dayton (3/9/13) appeared on ESPN SportsCenter's Top 10 plays at #5 ... Recorded eighth double-double of season with team-high 18 points and 10 rebounds at La Salle (3/6/13) ... Five blocks against Saint Louis (3/2/13) to bring season total to 66, second-most in a season in GW history trailing only Yinka Dare's 84 in 1992-93 ... Second consecutive double-double, seventh of season, with 14 points and 11 rebounds against #14 Butler (2/9/13) ... Fifth double-double of season with 11 points and career-high 14 rebounds in A-10 debut vs. St. Bonaventure (1/9/13), also had five blocks in 19-point win ... Recorded fourth double-double of season with 12 points, 10 rebounds and added seven blocks against Kansas State (12/8/12) ... Scored career-high 23 points on 8-of-12 field goals and 7-of-7 free throws, added nine rebounds and six blocks in win over Manhattan in BB&T Classic (12/2/12) ... Game-saving block with 7.2 seconds left to help preserve win at James Madison (11/28/12) ... Recorded second career double-double, first at GW, with 12 points and 10 rebounds in win over Hofstra (11/24/12). Added five blocks against the Pride. Named GWsports.com Colonial of the Week on Nov. 26 ... Blocked career-high eight shots and added game-high 12 rebounds and six points in victory at Boston University (11/17/12).

AT VILLANOVA
Armwood averaged 2.4 points on 48.1 percent shooting, 2.9 rebounds, 0.6 blocks, and 14.2 minutes over 61 games during two seasons with the Wildcats, who posted a 46-20 record over that span.

As a Sophomore at VU in 2010-11:
Started eight of 32 games played and averaged 2.5 points and 3.6 rebounds ... Connected on .491 of his field goal attempts.

As a Freshman at VU in 2009-10:
Averaged 2.3 points and 2.1 rebounds per outing while appearing in 29 games ... His first college basket, a three-point field goal with 17 seconds left in victory on Nov. 19, lifted Villanova to a 69-68 victory over George Mason at the O'Reilly Auto Parts Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

HIGH SCHOOL
Standout on one of America's elite prep units at Montrose Christian School in Rockville, MD ... Played for coach Stu Vetter and helped his club reach the semifinals of the first ESPN Rise National Invitation Tournament ... Averaged 12 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior ...
