High School: Averaged 11 points, seven rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game as a senior at WInchendon under coach Mike Byrnes... shot 83 percent from the line and 57 percent from the field as a senior... helped lead the Green Wave to a 26-7 record and the New England Prep School Championship as a junior alongside fellow Colonial recruit Jaason Smith... Winchendon was 25-5 during Roma's junior season for a combined 51-12 (.810) record during Roma's two seasons... Academically, Roma had the highest GPA in his senior class and ranked third in his junior class when he won the prestigious Harvard Award for leadership given by Winchendon faculty to a foreign-born junior.
