Men's Basketball Holds Off La Salle, 75-72
Chris Monroe and Marquin Chandler net 20 points each to lead the Colonials against the Explorers.

Trailing 72-70 with under two minutes to play, Monroe stole the ball from Rasheed Quadri and went coast-to-coast for a layup to tie the game at 72. Monroe was fouled and missed the free throw, but Jaason Smith (9 rebounds) was there for the putback and a 74-72 lead.
After Smith made one of two free throws to extend the Colonials' lead, Blanks' missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game to overtime.
The Explorers (7-8, 0-3) have lost seven straight to the Colonials (10-5, 3-1) at the Smith Center.
The Colonials kept La Salle's top offensive scorer, Rasual Butler, in check the entire game. Butler, averaging over 22 points per game, shot only three of 17 from the field and finished with 15 points.
