Recap?|? Box Score

Phil Martelli - Saint Joseph's head coach "Thought the key was the first half not fouling. We did not want to foul them. They were averaging 28 fouls shots a game and they got two in the first half. And obviously the second half come out and answer the bell right away with that performance."

"I do not think you can overlook the defensive performance on the other end. Tyrone (Barley) with (Chris) Monroe, Na??im (Crenshaw) with Monroe and Delonte (West) with Monroe. To hold him to 18 is significant."

"When you share the ball like that,24 assists on 35 baskets, that is the way we have played. And this week we have done that."

Jameer Nelson - Saint Joseph's guard "The losses we had we had breaks now that we are playing every two or three days we are back in a rhythm."

Karl Hobbs, GW coach on Nelson "In my opinion he is the best point guard I have seen this season. He understands what his team needs at all times. If they need scoring, he scores. Otherwise, he sets up everyone else. He is a terrific player, never out of control."
