ST. LOUIS (AP) - Ian Vouyoukas scored 16 points and Saint Louis sank 24 free-throws as the Billikens defeated George Washington 63-53 Saturday afternoon.

It marked the second consecutive conference loss for the Colonials, who entered the day in a three-way tie with Fordham and Rhode Island for first place in the Atlantic 10.

But Saint Louis went on a 14-4 run early in the second half to erase an 11-point deficit and take a 31-30 lead on Meyer's 3-point basket with 18:12 left.

The Colonials reclaimed the lead briefly before Vouyoukas sank two free-throw attempts to tie the score at 38. Saint Louis took the lead for good on Bryce Husak's only basket 48 seconds later.
