Men's Basketball Beats Bucknell In Red Auerbach Classic , 80-77

WASHINGTON (AP)- Pops Mensah-Bonsu led a balanced George Washington attack with 24 points, and the Colonials outlasted Boakai Lalugba and Bucknell for an 80-to-77 victory in the Red Auerbach Colonial Classic championship game.
George Washington now has won all nine of these tournaments, which the school always hosts.
Lalugba scored a game-high 34 points and added 13 rebounds, making numerous big plays to carry Bucknell throughout the game. He went 14-for-20 from the field and made shots from all over the court.
But the 6-foot-6 forward made only five of 12 free throws and missed a potential game-tying jumper with two seconds remaining.
Bucknell led for long stretches, especially in the first half when it hit
nine of 11 three-pointers en route to a 46-40 halftime lead. But the Bison
