Men's Basketball Defeats Old Dominion, 68-64

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - Chris Monroe scored 28 points and George Washington used a 9-0 run in the final two minutes to defeat Old Dominion 68-64 Wednesday.

George Washington (6-3) got 13 points from Tamal Forchion and Jaason Smith added 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Old Dominion (4-2), which led by 4 points at intermission, led by 5 with 2:09 to play when George Washington went on its run.

Greg Colluchi hit three free-throws and a Forchion jumper tied it with less than a minute on the clock. T-J Thompson scored the go-ahead layup and Forchion added a dunk in the game's final seconds to seal the win for George Washington.

The Monarchs were led by Rasheed Wright with 13 points.
