Saturday's Game: GW (12-9, 2-6 A-10) aims for its 13th victory of the season when it hosts Duquesne (11-11, 2-6) in the only regular-season meeting.

• Saturday's game marks the 68th meeting between the schools in a series that dates back to the 1932 season. It's Duquesne's first visit to Smith Center since Mar. 3, 2007.

• Duquesne has won the last two meetings in the series, both at Palumbo Center, after GW won the previous six straight. GW is 22-6 vs. Duquesne at Smith Center.

• GW is coming off a narrow 72-68 loss to Charlotte (17-3, 5-2) Wednesday at Halton Arena. Senior Damian Hollis paced the Colonials with 23 points while freshman Lasan Kromah added 11 points.

• Duquesne has been on the road since Tuesday when it travelled to Philadelphia to play at No. 19/17 Temple (19-4, 7-1). The Dukes lost, 76-60, to the Owls Wednesday night and bused directly to Washington on Thursday to beat the snowstorm. Duquesne's Bill Clark and Eric Evans each scored 12 points against the Owls. Duquesne shot 44.2 percent but just 8-15 from the line and were outrebounded, 35-19. Temple shot 57 percent and converted 14-16 (87.5%) from the free throw line.

• The Dukes are 1-8 on the road this season while GW is 5-4 at home.

A Closer Look at Duquesne: The Dukes enter Saturday's game with a 11-11 overall record, and tied with GW at 2-6 in the A-10 under fourth-year coach Ron Everhart. Damian Saunders' 14.5 points, 12.2 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 3.3 blocks leads the Dukes and ranks among the leaders in Division I in rebounds, steals and blocks. Bill Clark is averaging 13.1 points while Melquan Bolding (11.9 ppg), Eric Evans (10.5 ppg) and B.J. Monteiro (10.5 ppg) also are in double figures. For the season, Duquesne is shooting 41.5 percent from the field and averages 66.8 points a game. Saunders leads the A-10 in rebounding, steals with 2.8 a game, blocked shots with 3.3 per outing and minutes played (37.5).

Next Game: GW has a bye week before traveling to Fordham (2-18, 0-8) on Saturday, Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast live on 1500 AM and 820 AM as well as online at www.FederalNewsRadio.com. Live video and Gametracker stats available at GWsports.com.
