Armwood earns his second Colonial of the Week award of the season after posting consecutive double-doubles to lead GW to a split of two Atlantic 10 games. He averaged 14.0 points and 12.0 rebounds, along with 2.0 blocks and 2.0 steals.
Armwood opened with 14 points, 13 boards, four blocks and two steals in a 22-point rout at Duquesne for GW's third straight conference road victory, then totaled 14 points, 11 rebounds, two steals and two assists in Saturday's near upset of #14 Butler.
Armwood is tied for third in the A-10 with seven double-doubles this season and is the only player in the league averaging at least 12 points, eight rebounds and two blocks.
