• St. Bonaventure is coming off an 83-75 victory over Massachusetts Saturday at the Reilly Center. Maurice Thomas and Chris Matthews each scored a team-high 18 points while Jonathan Hall had a double-double with 13 points, 10 rebounds. SBU shot 47 percent from the field and had nine steals. The Bonnies have won two of their last three but have lost five of their last seven.

A Closer Look at St. Bonaventure: The Bonnies enter play Thursday with a 13-11 overall record, 4-7 A-10 under second-year coach Mark Schmidt. The Bonnies are one of the best road teams in the A-10 with a 7-3 mark away from Olean. St. Bonaventure has three players averaging double figure points, led by 6-9 freshman F Andrew Nicholson's 13.4 ppg and junior G Jonathan Hall's 13.1 points and 6.5 rebounds per game. Chris Matthews has hit 66 three-pointers at a 34 percent clip. Nicholson is a six-time A-10 Rookie of the Week. For the season, SBU is shooting 45.4 percent from the field, averages 72 points a game and is outrebounding its opponents by 4.5 caroms a game.
