GW, A-10 Announce 2013-14 Men's Basketball Pairings
Colonials' League Slate Features 10 Games Against 2013 Postseason Teams

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - George Washington men's basketball will play 10 games against teams that reached postseason play in 2013 as part of its Atlantic 10 Conference schedule for 2013-14, the league announced on Wednesday.

Half of GW's 10 league games versus 2013 postseason teams will take place at home in the Charles E. Smith Center as the Colonials will battle local rival and conference newcomer George Mason, as well as Fordham, La Salle and VCU in home-and-home series in 2013-14. GW will also face Duquesne, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Saint Joseph's at the Smith Center.
Along with return games at Fordham, Mason, La Salle and VCU, the Colonials will also travel to face Dayton, Richmond, St. Bonaventure and defending A-10 champion Saint Louis.
The Billikens, Explorers and VCU Rams all participated in the NCAA Tournament in March, while Saint Joseph's and UMass accepted bids to the Postseason NIT, and Mason and Richmond took part in the College Basketball Invitational.
The complete 16-game 2013-14 conference schedule with dates, times and television details will be announced at a later date.
