July 2, 2014
WASHINGTON - George Washington men's basketball will have a number of its student-athletes competing in the 2014 Nike Pro City Summer College League, or Kenner League, at McDonough Arena on the campus of Georgetown University this July and August.
Regular season play begins on Saturday, July 5 and runs through Saturday, August 2 with playoffs slated for August 3, 9 and 10.
Tentative team breakdowns for GW players are below, and a tentative schedule is linked above. All rosters, dates and times are tentative and subject to change.
Each summer, Georgetown University's McDonough Arena hosts the Kenner League. Named after one of the founders and first director of the Metropolitan Police Boys' and Girls' Club of Washington, D.C., the Jabbo Kenner League is the only NCAA sanctioned summer league in Washington, D.C. For nearly 20 years, the Kenner League has attracted high school, college and professional players from throughout the area to come together in the offseason and play in a team-oriented atmosphere that is both competitive and safe. It has also provided fans, friends and family the chance to see great hoops action in air conditioned comfort.
