GW Men's Hoops Game at Syracuse to Air on Comcast SportsNet

Coach Mike Lonergan and the GW men's basketball team will play their fourth straight game on television when it visits No. 3/3 Syracuse at the Carrier Dome on Saturday.

WASHINGTON - George Washington's men's basketball game at nationally ranked No. 3/3 Syracuse will be televised in the D.C. metro region by Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic. The game is set to tip-off at 7 p.m., on Saturday, and will be broadcast by Time Warner Cable Sports and also picked up by SNY in the New York metro region.

It marks the fourth consecutive Colonials' game that will air in the D.C. metro region, and the team's fifth of 13 currently scheduled televised games of the season.

The contest will also be streamed live on Syracuse All-Access, as well as the Time Warner Cable Sports website to Road Runner subscribers in Upstate New York only.

GW (4-4) will play its second nationally ranked opponent of the season in Syracuse (9-0). The Colonials defeated the Orange, 111-104, in the programs' most recent meeting in the 1994 Preseason NIT.

The contest features a match-up between Maurice Joseph, GW's assistant director of basketball operations and former Vermont standout under Mike Lonergan, and younger brother Kris Joseph, the Orange's leading scorer.
