GW (4-4) will play its second nationally ranked opponent of the season in Syracuse (9-0). The Colonials defeated the Orange, 111-104, in the programs' most recent meeting in the 1994 Preseason NIT.
The contest features a match-up between Maurice Joseph, GW's assistant director of basketball operations and former Vermont standout under Mike Lonergan, and younger brother Kris Joseph, the Orange's leading scorer.
