Roland led GW to a dominant, 74-59 win over UCF last Thursday, by pouring in a career-high 27 points on an efficient 9-of-13 shooting from the field. The sophomore guard connected on 5-of-9 three-pointers, including 4-of-5 in the second half, when he did the majority of his damage. With GW leading 30-22 after intermission, Roland caught fire coming out of the locker room, hitting 7-of-8 shots overall and 4-of-4 at the free throw line for 22 points in the second half. His 27 total points are the most by a Colonial this season, and he also added two assists and a steal without a turnover in his 30 minutes of action. In GW's current three-game winning streak, Roland is averaging 17.3 points per game.
