One of two players to compete in all 11 events, third on team with three rounds of par-or-better and fourth with 77.81 scoring average ... Opened career with hole-in-one on fifth collegiate hole en route to season-low 71 in first round of Adams Cup of Newport, made appearance on GolfWeek.com's By the Numbers. Tied for 20th at 54-hole event with 10-over 226 (71-72-83) ... Recorded season-low 54-hole total of 9-over 225 (78-72-75) at the VCU Shootout ... HIGH SCHOOL
Farmer was named Prince George's County Golfer of the Year by The Gazette in both 2012 and 2013 during his final two seasons at DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Md. He was also a Second Team All-County selection by The Gazette as a sophomore in 2011. As a junior in 2012, he posted a nine-hole scoring average of 37 en route to an 11-1 record and First Team All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference (WCAC) honors, and in 2013 carded a 38 average and a 10-2 mark to earn honorable mention All-Met honors from The Washington Post. During the last two years, Farmer has produced a trio of top-five finishes in events on the Future Collegians World Tour and International Junior Golf Tour.
