AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15): Played in eight events and had a 78.26 scoring average ... t-67th at the Patriot Intercollegiate Sept. 28-29 with a 15-over 228 (79-72-77) ... shot 14-over 227 (76-73-78), his low total of the season, at the Bash at the Beach March 9-10 to finish t-65th ... shot an 18-over 234 (74-84-76) to finish 48th at the Atlantic 10 Championship April 24-26.
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14): Team MVP led GW with a 75.48 scoring average, 429-343 (.556) win-loss record and low-round of the year at 4-under 68 at VCU Shootout ... Matched team-best five rounds of par-or-better with teammate Jack Persons ... Tied for ninth at 2014 Atlantic 10 Championship along with Persons at 12-over 225 (77-76-72) ... T-29th at VCU Shootout, his first collegiate event, with 5-over 221 (74-79-68). Final round 68 matched the lowest-ever round by a GW freshman ... Recorded season-low 54-hole total of 2-over 215 (71-73-71) to tie for 19th at the ODU/OuterBanks Intercollegiate, was named A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week for effort ... Heda posted an 18-hole scoring average of 73.6 and was a four-time All-Broward County selection during his four scholastic seasons at Cypress Bay High School. The three-year team captain participated in three Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 2A state tournaments, highlighted by a top-10 finish with an even-par 144 as a freshman in 2009. Heda also captured the FHSAA Region 7 title in 2009, was regional runner-up as a sophomore in 2010, and was District 22 runner-up as a junior in 2011. He also has won a trio of Callaway Junior World Golf Qualifiers and has posted five top-30 finishes at American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) events. Off the course, Heda was named a 2013 Broward County High School Scholar-Athlete, an honor awarded based on athletics, academics and service.
