In his first year as a Colonial, Rohr quickly made a contribution, placing sixth at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational with 74-76. In the spring Bob got the starting nod in two events. As a junior, Rohr came into his own, playing in 21 rounds and averaging 7749. He placed fifth at the Rehoboth Beach Invitational, shooting 71-76. He finished 21st at the Joe Agee Invitational shooting 71-73-76 to help the team to the title. He was the Colonials second best finisher at the Baylor Invitational, shooting 74-74-75. Midway through the spring of his senior year, Rohr had started more rounds than any other Colonial. He shot 74-72 to tie for 7th and lead the Colonials to a victory in the Rehoboth Beach Invitational. He shot his career low of 69 in the final round of the Joe Agee Classic in October of 2006.
Junior, High School & Amateur Golf:
Rohr was a member of one of the strongest high school programs in Illinois at Lake Forest. In 2003 he finished 29th at the Illinois State Junior with 306 and 20th in the 2002 Illinois Junior Am. Rohr finished 11th at the 2003 FCWT Bank of Bermuda Classic at the famous Mid Ocean Club and 18th at the 2002 FCWT Royal New Kent Classic. Rohr placed 11th at the 2002 Illinois Junior Golf Association Tournament of Champions in and shot 71-73 to place second in the event in 2003. Rohr finest achievement as a junior golfer, however, came in the Westfields Junior PGA Championship. Bob shot 75-71 to finish second in the Illinois Section qualifier and then shot a steady 296 for 72 holes to finish 22nd in the National Championship. In the summer of 2005, he finished fourth at the North Shore Amateur in Chicago shooting 71-72.
