Rosenthal won the walk-on try-out to become a member of the team his freshman year and has since solidified his position on the squad and become a team-leader off of the course. He was named co-captain for the 2002-03 season. Rosenthal earned a starting spot at the Princeton Invitational (in his home state) in April of his freshman year and has seen action with the first team in each subsequent season. He played in the William & Mary Colonial Classic at the Golden Horseshoe in his sophomore season and started for GW at the Navy Fall Invitational in 2001. His career low of 75 came at the 2002 Rehoboth Beach Fall Invitational where his 156 total earned him a 22nd place finish. Reid birdied the last hole to help he and his partner advance to the match play portion of the New Jersey Four-Ball championship this summer. Reid is a die-hard NJ Devils fan and (along with roommate and teammate Brad Friedlander) led his intramural floor hockey team to the campus title.
