Led the team with a 75.0 stroke average as a sophomore last season. Shot his career-low 70 three times including both rounds of the Notre Dame Irish Invitational en route to an even-par 140 and a 3rd-place finish in the field of 59. Played eight rounds on the "A" team as a freshman and placed sixth at the Navy Spring Classic. He was twice-named Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week in `07.
Junior, High School & Amateur Golf:
Turner is the 2005 Indiana State Match Play Champion and was honored as the Pepsi Indiana Player of the Year that same year. He also qualified for the US Junior Amateur mat Olympic Club in San Francisco. In 2005 he won the FCWT Cog Hill Invitational, shooting 74-75.
