Shot his career-low rd. of 69 in the second rd. at Navy last year. His 56.5 career rounds played ranks second on the squad. First GW freshman to play in NCAA Tournament. He shot 74-72-71 at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Championship to finish 17th. Posted a 69 at the Navy Spring Invitational and a 70 at the ODU SeaScape Invitational in the fall of his freshman year.

Zuluaga came to GW as the No. 4-ranked Amateur in Colombia. At the 2005 Colombian Amateur Championship, he qualified fourth with 74-70-78 and then lost in the quarterfinals of match play. In the 2005 Colombian Open, Zuluaga tied for 30th and was the second lowest amateur in the field, shooting 70-76-76-76 and edging Oscar Alvarez (BYU's number one player) and Manuel Villegas (Florida's number one player) by one shot. He shot 77-76-72-75 at the 2004 Optimist World Junior in Florida and finished 16th. The same year he posted a 307 (for 72 holes) at the Callaway World Junior at Torrey Pines in San Diego.
