Golf Ties for 11th at Rain-Shortened adidas Hoosier Invitational
March 30, 2008 BLOOMINGTON, IN -- George Washington's Brendan Barrack was the low Colonial with a two-round 149 at the adidas Hoosier Invitational men's golf tournament hosted by Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Thirty-six holes of the two-day event were played Saturday with an additional 18 holes scheduled from Sunday before rain washed out the final round. The tournament was held at IU's par 71, 6,813-yard IU Golf Course. The Colonials tied for 11th in the 17-team field. Eastern Kentucky won the abbreviated tournament with a 582 (304-278) while the Colonials were 26 strokes off the pace with a 608 (306-302). Eastern Kentucky's Jesse Massie won the individual title with a three-under-par 139 (74-65). GW senior Conor McMahon was the next-lowest Colonial after firing a 152 (75-77), which put him nine-way tie for 43rd place. Next up for the Colonials is the Navy Spring Invitational, hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy, on April 5-6, at Annapolis, MD. The 36-hole event takes place at the par-72, 6,813-yard Naval Academy Golf Course. Individual Colonials' scores (85 total golfers):
