Manor Intercollegiate Final Results

FARMVILLE, Va. - The George Washington golf team shot a final round score of 17-over-par 305 to finish in fourth place out of 10 teams at Longwood’s Manor Intercollegiate on Saturday. Freshman Jack Persons fired a final round 1-over 73 to tie for 10th place overall.

Seton Hall won the two-day event with a three-round score of 16-over 880, and Longwood’s Dylan Jensen fired a three-round total of 7-under 209 to claim medalist honors.

After posting first- and second-round scores of 292 and 300, GW finished with a 305 on Saturday for a three-round total of 33-over 897. Persons led all Colonials in a tie for 10th place out of 61 golfers with a three-round score of 6-over 222.

Seniors Taylor Fuqua and Andres Pumariega shot identical scores of 4-over 76 to tie for 17th with three-round totals of 10-over 226. Sophomore Graham Lawyer fired a final round 6-over 78 to tie for 19th with a three round 12-over 228.

Senior Brandon Rukin shot a 9-over 81 in his final round for a three-round score of 15-over 231 to tie for 24th, and classmate Martin Liu shot an 8-over 80 for a three-round total of 16-over 232 to tie for 26th.

GW wraps up the regular season at the Navy Spring Classic from Saturday, April 21 – Sunday, April 22.
