Golf Places Seventh at Navy Fall Invitational

ANNAPOLIS, MD -- GW's Andrew Gallo (Toronto, Ontario) shot a two-day 149 (73-76) to place in a six-way tie for 21st in the Navy Fall Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Annapolis, MD. As a team, GW placed seventh with a team total 601 (299-302) at the par-71, 6,611-yard Naval Academy Golf Course. Towson won the tournament with a score of 584 and Saint Joseph's Sean Seese was the individual winner with an even-par 142. GW junior Brian Carroll (Crystal Lake, IL) carded a 151 (78-73) shaving three strokes off his score from the same event last year. Colonials sophomore Raman Luthra (75-77) and junior Dan Mirabella (74-78) tied for 37th place each with a 152. GW sophomore Jack Tyler (Novi, MI) fininshed in a tie for 46th with a 153 (77-76) among 105 individuals. GW individual scores (105 total players): Final Team Standings Next up for the Colonials is the 54-hole Northern Intercollegiate, Sept. 18-19, hosted by the University of Wisconsin at University Ridge Golf Club in Madison, WI.
