Lowe in Contention at Camden Collegiate Invitational

CAMDEN, S.C. – Junior Logan Lowe is in contention again after opening the Camden Collegiate Invitational with rounds of 68 and 70 to sit in eighth place at 2-under par in the GW golf team’s final tournament of the fall season.

Lowe heads into Sunday’s final round three shots back of the leader, Shota Ozaki of James Madison, who is 5-under after shooting 69-66 at the par 70 Camden Country Club on Saturday. Lowe has recorded top-10 finishes in each of his last two tournaments, taking T-6th at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate and T-4th at the Phoenix Invitation on Tuesday.

As a team, GW is in 12th place at 26-over par. Host South Carolina holds a sizeable lead at 11-under, with James Madison in second place at even-par. Final round play gets underway for the Colonials at 8:40 a.m. Sunday.
