CAMDEN, S.C. -- Junior Logan Lowe shot a final round 68 on Sunday to overcome a three-shot deficit and win the Camden Collegiate Invitational by a stroke over August Lindvall of USC Aiken.

Lowe, who came into the day 2-under par and three shots back of the lead, was one of just three players in the 90-man field in red figures during the final round. He mixed two birdies with a bogey on each side, shooting 34 going out and 34 coming in to finish the tournament with a 4-under 206. That was enough to hold off Lindvall, the only player in the field to card a lower round with a 66 to finish 3-under overall.

The win is the second of Lowe's career. He broke through for his first collegiate victory last spring at the Bash at the Beach Invitational and played some of his best golf over the last three tournaments heading into this weekend. He finished T-12th (VCU Janney Invitational), T-6th (Wolfpack Intercollegiate) and T-4th (Phoenix Invitational) before taking the crown on Sunday.

During a season in which he already set GW's school record for low round when he fired a 64 at the Wolfpack Intercollegiate, Lowe adds his name to the record books again with the lowest 54-hole tournament in school history.

As a team, GW finished 13th at 49-over par. Host South Carolina took the title with a 1-over par.
