Blankvoort Wins GW Invitational, Colonials Tie For Ninth With 638
ISSUE, MD (April 2) - GW's Thomas Blankvoort shot an even-par 144 (72-72) to capture the the GW Invitational golf tournament, Sunday and Monday at the par-72, 6,761-yard Swan Point Yacht and Country Club in Issue, MD. Blankvoort's performance was seven strokes better than McNeese State's Adrien Mork who fired a 151 (76-75).
McNeese State won the 29-team tournament over George Mason and Lehigh which tied for second with 624. GW's Darren Ressler (73-79) and Dayton's Todd Grear (74-78) tied for third among 149 individuals, each carding a 152.
