Golf 19th at GW Invitational

ISSUE, MD (April 3) - GW's Michael Goldman fired a 160 which placed him in a five-way tie for 48th among 133 individuals at the 36-hole George Washington Invitational April 2-3 at the par 72, 6,761-yard Swan Point Yacht and Country Club in southern Maryland. The Colonials' A team placed 19th (648) while the GW B team was 20th (654) among the 27-team field.

Goldman's score was one stroke better than teammate Brad Friedlander's 161 (83-78) while Darren Ressler (79-83) and Dan Reardon (85-77) each fired 162s to tie for 58th out of 133 individuals

Villanova's Dugan Condon won the tournament with a three-over-par 147 (72-75) and Iona College took the team title with a 612 (+36), five strokes ahead of runners-up Providence College and the University of Pennsylvania, each shooting 617.

Siena's Mark Thornhill scored a hole-in-one Sunday on the par 3, 160-yard 11th.
