Golf's Dan Mirabella Wins A-10 Rookie Honors

Freshman Shoots Even Par in Tri-Match

DOVER, DE - GW's Dan Mirabella (Ann Arbor, MI/Saline) has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for men's golf, the league office has announced.

Mirabella carded an even-par 72 at the 6,794-yard Wild Quail Country Club in Dover, DE, Saturday, April 12. He tied for third among 15 individuals.

The Colonials competed in a three-way match with Columbia and Iona. GW totalled 296 to finish second just three strokes behind Iona's 293. Columbia was third with a 317.

GW hosts the Rehoboth Beach Invitational on April 14.
