
As a team, the Colonials tied Cleveland State for seventh place out of 18 teams with a two-round total 608. GW was 16 strokes off the pace set by champion American which set a tournament record with a total of 592. The tournament, named after former SBU golf coach Leo Keenan, was played at the par-70, 6,360-yard Bartlett Country Club Course.
After Blankvoort, the next lowest Colonial was senior Ryan Day who carded a 149 (75-74) which placed him in a four-way tie for 15th place. Bryan Derdenger was one stroke behind Day with a 10-over-par 150.
St. Bonaventure's Tyson Pedacchio defeated Robert Morris' Jeff Castleton in a playoff for medalist honors after both shot a 144.
