2016-17 Season: Sat bow seat of the varsity four that placed eighth in the Champ Four at 2016 Head of the Charles… sat bow seat of the varsity four at Princeton Chase that placed second behind Princeton… sat five seat of the first varsity eight for the regular season that swept the 2017 George Washington Invitational... sat five seat of the second varsity eight that won the second-level final at the Eastern Sprints Regatta (5:42.980) to finish 7th overall...at the IRA Regatta, Tribe helped the boat to a sixth-place finish in the second-level final (6:03.446) for a national ranking of 12th.

Summer 2016: Sat three seat of the GW's second varsity four that raced the Visitors’ Challenge Cup at the Henley Royal Regatta in Henley-on-Thames, England, GW's first appearance in the international regatta.

2015-16 Season: Sat three seat of the first varsity eight for the whole season that placed second in the third-level final at the Eastern Sprints Regatta (5:48.957) to finish 14th overall...finished sixth in the third-level final at the IRA Regatta (6:05.46) for a final national ranking of 18th.

2014-15 Season (at Washington): Rowed in freshman eight…placed second at Cal duel… first at Stanford… first at Head of the Lake… first at Windermere Cup against Columbia.

High School/Club: Rowed five years at the Geelong Grammar School Boat Club and was on varsity eight… national champion in U19 four at Sydney International Rowing Regatta 2013… placed second at Head of the River 2013 in the varsity eight (best performance by GGS)… trained with Mercantile Rowing Club… received school honors in Music and Theater.

Personal: Born Hugh Wilfred Benjamin Tribe on 07/07/1995… son of Lorraine and Philip Tribe…one sister, Stephanie, and one brother, Oliver… grandfather was a state and national level rower in Australia, father was a national champion sprinter… attended Geelong Grammar School…enjoys quality time with the boys… intended major is Criminal Justice.
